The Platform on which Moto X runs is Android v4.4.4(kitkat) which is the latest vesion of android till now. It will definitely get regular andriod updates from Google. (Next Expected update is Android Lolipop 5.0 guaranteed by Motorola). Moto X has near to "stock Android" interface which helps in acquiring less memory and , therefore, it boosts up the performance to some level.

It has 2.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801, Quad Core processor with 2GB RAM. Performance wise, it is just an impressive one. It is lightning fast smartphone and have no lags.It can run any kind of heavy application without just a single lag. So, in terms of performance, IT ROCKS!!!

Moto X (2nd Gen) has a screen size of 5.2" which is a bit large but it feels premium in hands. It is just a light weight phone of 144g only. It has a full HD 1920x1080 pixels AMOLED display which is vivid and looks brilliant. The color reproduction is bit saturated though but screen looks fantastic.
Moto X (2nd Gen) has two front grills (as in Moto G ) for dual speakers which is impressive as it is loud and clear while playing music or listening to calls.

One and the largest disadvantage is its memory. Moto X (2nd Gen ) comes with a 16 GB internal memory with no expandable memory card slot. User Memory available is 10 GB(approx.) which is less for heavy application oriented user.

Moto X (2nd Gen ) have 13 MP rear camera and 2 MP front camera. Rear camera doesn't work well in low light conditions. Ring flash provide softer light, but images are usually grainy at low light. While the day light pics came out to be good. It can also record video in slowmotion and in ultra HD 4k.

In terms of battery performance, Moto should have gone for a better battery. It worked till the whole day while using 3G internet and a bit of gaming. This would be perfect buy for normal user but would not be suitable for heavy gamers. There is no Battery saver mode as well.

Moto X ( 2nd Gen ) have some of the interesting features. Moto's voice assistant feature is really a great feature. Moto's one core is dedicated for voice assistant feature. You just need to set up greeting(for eg. "OK GOOGLE") and just say it to awake Moto X. It also has touchless control. If you missed any notifiaction, you just have to wave your hand over the screen's front sensors and you can read notifications without touching your phone. Also, Moto have incorporated gesture control, such as waving your hand over your mobile to silence it.

Also, Moto X doesn't have FM radio. Even Moto G and Moto E have FM radio.

And the headphones that it comes with have a nice design. But sound quality is average with high treble. Buy another one if you are music lover for better sound quality.

Moto X ( 2nd Gen) have some of the weakeness, but it is certainly a good phone. It offers some of the great features which makes it unique. Moto X ( 2nd Gen ) is available exclusively on Flipkart at Rs 31,999( Black color).  If you seek a phone of around Rs 30,000, then it is a great deal which shouldn't be missed.
If you have budget of around Rs 20,000, then you can buy its predecessor Moto X (2013 edition) which is exclusively available on Flipkart at Rs18,000.
