Newsstand

News and RSS apps are massively popular on the Google Play Store with the likes of Flipboard and Feedly among the most loved and downloaded applications available. Play Newsstand also offers users a one stop place to get all the news they want, while not having to search around for one of their magazine subscriptions.

The first thing you’ll notice when opening the app is how Google has decided to employ the same “cards” interface inspired by Google Now in this app. Not only that, but you can also see that it behaves very much like the Play Store itself and even the slide-out navigation menu is the same.
Newsstands is beautiful to use and the interface is exceptionally smooth and designed perfectly in terms of aesthetics. Unlike other apps, Google have included access to their magazine subscription service.Every news story and magazine is available to read offline whenever you like. Simply bookmark them as you read them.It also enable user to subscribe specific topics of thier interest. News stories can be share to other user as well by using Share feature.

It’s a really nicely designed app. One unique attribute is that when looking at the feed of a specific publication, the site’s logo is place in the center of an animated graphic made from pictures in that feed.Tapping any of the publications will also take you to a publication specific view, allowing you to navigate through individual articles, sort by video content and even choose between categories. One of the nice things about Google Play Newsstand is that it gives you free trials and good deals on paid magazine and newspaper content. If you have to pay for content, you might as well pay less.
